Sushi Making Training

This course is designed for those interested candidates who want to understand about sushi in both theoretical and practical way, those who are planning for abroad to work as a sushi chef in various sushi outlets.

Students will acquire a wide range of skills and knowledge about sushi in which we will start our classes from the very beginning, as basic techniques will bring broaden ideas and concepts. It includes the following:-

  • How to use sushi knife
  • How to prepare basic vegetable
  • How to prepare rice for sushi
  • How to clean and cure fish
  • How to make various style of sushi rolls
  • Preserving sushi ( curing with vinegar and soya sauce )
  • Preparing Japanese salad and soups

Students will learn how to make sushi individually after chef’s demo with many kinds of sea foods: white, red, small, medium or large fish, shellfish, squid or octopus, tuna, salmon and shrimps.
